Celebrate your love of whippets, greyhounds, lurchers, and sighthounds with this decorative metal dog heart hanging ornament, made to bring a warm and personal touch to your garden, wall, fence, patio, balcony, porch, or outdoor space. Precision laser cut in the UK from solid 2 mm steel sheet, this piece is made to naturally develop a beautiful rustic patina over time, creating a rich weathered finish full of character.

This elegant whippet, greyhound, and lurcher heart design features a sitting sighthound silhouette, a flowing heart-shaped outer frame, a long curved tail detail, a small triangle cut-out, and a central hanging hole, making it perfect for displaying on garden walls, fences, sheds, pergolas, patios, porches, pet memorial spaces, remembrance corners, or inside the home. Its recognisable slim dog and heart design brings warmth, love, and rustic character to any space, making it especially appealing for whippet lovers, greyhound owners, lurcher owners, dog memorial gifts, pet loss gifts, remembrance decor, and animal-inspired home or garden styling.

Unlike many mass-produced metal decorations sold online, our products are not imported or dropshipped. Every Northern Baubles design is created by us, cut by us, packaged by us, and sent from the UK. Each piece is laser cut from solid steel sheet, giving it a quality weight and long-lasting feel compared with thin lightweight decorations.

We are a small family business focused on creating original metal decorations with care, quality, and attention to detail. Our designs are our own and are made for customers who want something a little more unique than generic imported garden and home decorations.

Raw Steel Finish

This piece is supplied in raw, untreated steel, allowing it to naturally develop its own beautiful rustic patina over time. When displayed outdoors, exposure to the elements will create the rich weathered finish that gives steel garden art its distinctive character.

Each item will rust slightly differently depending on its environment, meaning every piece develops a unique colour and texture as it matures.

Spraying with salt water will speed up the rusting process if you would like the rustic patina to develop more quickly.

Important

As this is a real rusting steel decoration, rust run-off may occur during the weathering process, especially in the early stages. This can mark light-coloured or porous surfaces, so care should be taken when placing it on or near pale stone, render, paving, painted surfaces, fabric, or decorative areas.

String, ribbon, hook, screws, and wall fixings are not included. Please use your own suitable hanging method depending on where you choose to display the item.
