Cherry red 1970s does 1940s peplum waist dress with a modern safari-style twist. There are button up epaulets on the shoulders, and two slash cut outs just below. The bodice has a ten, gunmetal grey, button closure and two very shallow breast pockets. Strong, padded shoulders, a nipped in waist, and open peplum at the hip provides a great hourglass silhouette.
The skirt is a pencil style with its own four gunmetal grey button closure and elasticity at the back. Note that the bodice of the dress is only attached to the skirt in two places at the waist.

Condition notes: the dress is in great vintage condition with some wear to note. There were previous repairs made to the waist of the bodice (see pictures). Both this, and where the skirt attaches to the bodice, may need reinforcement in the future. The metal buttons have also left grey marks along the placket, which is covered. These do not take away from presentation; priced accordingly.
