Dachshund Quilt Pattern, Dog Wall Hanging Quilt Pattern PDF, Applique Quilt Pattern, Doxie Lover Gift, Raw Edge Fusible Applique

🌸 Welcome to WildbloomQuilts - bold, colourful folk-art quilt patterns for makers who love vivid, joyful projects. 🌸

⚠️ TECHNIQUE - PLEASE READ FIRST: RAW-EDGE FUSIBLE APPLIQUE
This is a raw-edge fusible applique pattern. The templates print at FINISHED SIZE with NO seam allowance and NO dashed turn-under lines, and they come as numbered full-size layout sheets - not as separate cut-out pieces. You trace each shape onto paper-backed fusible web, iron it to your fabric, cut on the drawn line, peel, press it in place, and stitch over the raw edge with a blanket or narrow zigzag stitch. Paper-backed fusible web is required. This is NOT a turned-edge / needle-turn pattern, and there are no dotted seam-allowance lines to turn under.

This striking design captures a dachshund portrait in vivid geometric folk-art style, the beloved breed's long muzzle and floppy ears rendered as an interlocking mosaic of bold triangles and diamonds. Warm burnt oranges and golden ambers sit alongside rich crimson, deep navy, olive green, teal, and dusky purple, all blazing against a dramatic black background that makes every colour sing. The faceted shapes follow the natural contours of the dog's face and chest, giving the portrait both warmth and graphic punch that is utterly irresistible to any sausage-dog devotee. Piecing together this kaleidoscope of fabrics is a genuinely joyful process, with each geometric wedge rewarding you with a little more of that soulful, steady gaze looking back at you from the quilt top.

Every pattern in this shop is my own work, from the first line to the last page. I draw each design by hand as an original vector illustration in Adobe Illustrator, then develop it into a ready-to-sew applique pattern - every cutting line, every fabric colour, every template page and instruction. Each one takes time and a lot of care, and I hope that comes through when you stitch it.
