The Sylvan Ring

A ring the forest might have made. Vines twist across the shoulders of an open band, every leaf veined by hand, small white stones tucked into the foliage like dew. At the center, a lab-created white sapphire rises out of the leaves in fine claw prongs — pear-cut, or marquise if you'd rather.

From The Otherworld series — Duskgild's light register. The gold is a finish and the silver underneath is real: every Sylvan is cast in solid 925 sterling silver, then gilded in 18k gold.
