Two scaled crescents coil from a beaded crown and hold a pear of lab-created opal between their tails — cold silver scales around a stone that burns blue, green and ember-orange as it moves. Solid 925 sterling silver, oxidized by hand so the scales keep their shadows. The pair mirrors: left and right coil toward each other, the way serpents circle.
