The pattern combines broad rust-brown vertical bands with narrower charcoal columns filled with closely spaced ivory and grey horizontal dashes. From a distance, the arrangement creates a bold striped rhythm; viewed more closely, the small broken lines and textured printed details give the design a handwoven, mudcloth-inspired character. The design consists of alternating vertical bands. Wide rust-brown columns are separated by charcoal and ivory striped sections containing fine horizontal broken lines. The resulting pattern has a strong geometric quality with a relaxed tribal-boho appearance.

The brown is an earthy rust or clay brown rather than a bright orange. The darker sections appear charcoal black rather than flat jet black, while the lighter markings are warm ivory and grey rather than brilliant white. These naturally subdued tones make the curtains easy to combine with warm white, oatmeal, beige, tan, cognac leather, walnut wood, black metal, aged brass, stone, concrete and other earthy interior finishes.

THICK AND HEAVY PURE LINEN

The main curtain fabric is pure linen with a thick, heavy and substantial feel. Its weight is approximately 294 GSM, calculated from a fabric weight of 403 grams per linear metre at a fabric width of 54 inches or approximately 137 cm.

This substantial weight gives the curtains an elegant fall and helps the panels form attractive folds when installed. The natural linen texture also adds depth to the printed pattern, preventing the surface from appearing flat or overly uniform.

Small slubs, yarn variations and subtle irregularities are characteristic of natural linen and should not be considered defects. They contribute to the relaxed, organic appearance of the finished curtains.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR 100-INCH-WIDE CURTAINS

A finished curtain panel measuring 100 inches wide will be made by carefully joining two approximately 50-inch fabric widths.

This construction creates a vertical joining seam within the finished curtain panel. The pattern will be aligned as carefully as the fabric repeat allows, and the seam generally becomes barely noticeable after the curtain is installed, gathered and arranged into natural folds.

The seam is a normal and necessary construction detail for an extra-wide pure linen curtain and is not considered a defect.

Clearly confirm whether the measurement is for each individual panel or the combined width of the complete pair.

For example, when you require a curtain measuring 46 inches wide by 89 inches high, select the 50-inch width and 96-inch height option, then write the exact finished measurement of 46 inches wide by 89 inches high in the Personalisation box.

Please do not select a size smaller than your required custom measurements.

THREE LINING OPTIONS

1. UNLINED



The unlined curtains retain the most natural linen appearance and allow softly filtered daylight to pass through the fabric.

Because these are linen curtains, the unlined version is semi-sheer rather than completely opaque. It provides gentle daytime privacy while preserving a bright and airy atmosphere. Shapes or silhouettes may be more visible at night when lights are switched on inside the room.

2. ORGANIC COTTON LIGHT-FILTERING LINER



The organic cotton liner adds body, privacy and opacity while continuing to allow a softly diffused glow into the room.

With this liner, the curtains become completely opaque and provide considerably greater privacy than the unlined version. The cotton backing also gives the panels a fuller and more structured fall.

3. 100% BLACKOUT LINER



The blackout option uses an OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, non-toxic polycotton lining made from 50% cotton and 50% polyester.

This liner blocks light completely through the covered fabric area and is the best option for bedrooms, nurseries, media rooms, night-shift sleeping areas or other spaces where maximum darkness is required.

Choose the blackout liner when you prefer:

Please note that small amounts of light may still enter around the top, sides or bottom of the curtains depending on the rod position, heading style, wall clearance and installation method. BACK TABS

Fabric tabs are sewn discreetly onto the reverse of the curtain header. The rod passes through the hidden tabs, creating a clean front appearance with soft, evenly spaced folds.

ROD POCKET

A stitched channel is created across the top of the curtain, allowing the curtain rod to slide directly through the fabric.

GROMMETS

Metal grommets are fitted across the top of the curtain, allowing the rod to pass directly through the eyelets.

HOW TO MEASURE THE CURTAIN WIDTH

Measure the usable width of your curtain rod or track rather than measuring only the glass portion of the window.

Decide how much gathering or fullness you would like.

For a gently gathered appearance, the combined flat width of the curtains can be approximately 1.5 times the rod or track width.

For a fuller and more luxurious appearance, the combined flat width can be approximately twice the rod or track width.

When ordering a pair, divide the required combined curtain width between the two panels.

Example:

For a 72-inch-wide curtain rod, a combined curtain width of approximately 108 to 144 inches can create a gathered appearance. A pair could therefore consist of two panels measuring approximately 54 to 72 inches wide each.

The listed curtain width is the flat finished width before the curtain is gathered onto the rod or track.

HOW TO MEASURE THE CURTAIN HEIGHT

For hooks-top curtains, measure from the intended hook or track position to the point where you want the curtain to finish.

For back-tab curtains, measure from the top of the curtain rod to the desired finishing point.

For rod-pocket curtains, measure from the top of the rod or from the position where the curtain header will begin.

For grommet curtains, measure from the top of the rod and allow for the small section of fabric that sits above the grommets.

Measure each window carefully, even when the windows appear to be identical.

CAFE CURTAINS

This fabric can also be made into custom cafe curtains for kitchens, breakfast rooms, bathrooms, utility rooms, small windows, door windows or lower-half window coverage.

Cafe curtains are an excellent way to add privacy while allowing daylight to enter through the uncovered upper portion of the window.

For custom cafe curtains, select the next suitable standard size and provide the exact finished measurements, heading style and lining preference in the Personalisation box.

Cafe curtains can be made as a single panel or as a pair, depending on the required window arrangement.

PATTERN PLACEMENT

The exact placement of the stripes may vary slightly according to the selected curtain width, height and position of the fabric repeat.

For pairs, the panels will be coordinated as closely as reasonably possible. However, handmade custom curtains and natural linen fabric may have small differences in pattern position.

For 100-inch-wide curtains, the vertical design will be aligned carefully at the joining seam wherever the fabric repeat permits.

CARE RECOMMENDATIONS

Professional dry cleaning is recommended to help preserve the linen texture, printed design, lining and made-to-measure construction.

Avoid bleach and harsh chemical cleaners.

If light creasing occurs, gentle steaming from the reverse side may be used. Avoid placing a very hot iron directly onto the printed surface.

Linen naturally develops a relaxed appearance, and minor creasing is part of its character.
