Horse Quilt Pattern, Horse Wall Hanging Quilt Pattern PDF, Easy Applique Quilt for Beginners, Raw Edge Fusible Applique

🌸 Welcome to WildbloomQuilts - bold, colourful folk-art quilt patterns for makers who love vivid, joyful projects. 🌸

⚠️ TECHNIQUE - PLEASE READ FIRST: RAW-EDGE FUSIBLE APPLIQUE
This is a raw-edge fusible applique pattern. The templates print at FINISHED SIZE with NO seam allowance and NO dashed turn-under lines, and they come as numbered full-size layout sheets - not as separate cut-out pieces. You trace each shape onto paper-backed fusible web, iron it to your fabric, cut on the drawn line, peel, press it in place, and stitch over the raw edge with a blanket or narrow zigzag stitch. Paper-backed fusible web is required. This is NOT a turned-edge / needle-turn pattern, and there are no dotted seam-allowance lines to turn under.

This joyful folk-art portrait captures a golden bay horse surrounded by lush green foliage and a bold sunflower, rendered in a striking geometric collage style. The horse's face glows in warm amber and honey tones with a soft cream blaze, while its spectacular mane cascades in dramatic sweeps of navy, cobalt blue, magenta, and deep purple, giving the design an irresistible sense of energy and movement. Every shape is clean and confident, built for raw-edge fusible applique, so each angular facet of the horse's face and each pointed petal of the sunflower comes together satisfyingly under the iron. It is a design that is as much fun to cut and fuse as it is to hang on the wall and admire.

Every pattern in this shop is my own work, from the first line to the last page. I draw each design by hand as an original vector illustration in Adobe Illustrator, then develop it into a ready-to-sew applique pattern - every cutting line, every fabric colour, every template page and instruction. Each one takes time and a lot of care, and I hope that comes through when you stitch it.
