Description

You've found an antique hand crank mixer / egg beater or half moon double blade chopper!

Taplin's Dover Pattern Improved egg beater has cast iron mechanism, steel beater blades, & wood knob. This antique egg beater has the patina of age and use, with some rust on the beater blades and worn wood knob that has a wobble and is cracked. Despite flaws which add to its character, this 12.25" Taplin's egg beater turns great and might just serve another hundred years. A great food photography prop or kitchen collectible, or clean it up to whip up an old-time homemade cake. Watch it work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bY6sLoRZZU

Half moon double blade chopper has steel blade with wood handle, with patina of age and use and some rust. Handle is a little bent. This primitive kitchen utensil measures 5.5 x 5.25", with 1.25" blade spacing. Perfect for food photography, or clean and sharpen for chopping in your kitchen.

FAQs

*Calculated shipping options available from fastest to slowest:
Priority Express
Priority Mail
First Class Mail (in many cases, it's just as fast as Priority Mail)
Parcel Select / Media Mail / FedEx Ground
(Sometimes I substitute shipping methods for something of equal speed or faster.)

*Standard shipping is via FedEx SmartPost, FedEx Ground, or Priority Mail, depending on where you live. Please ask if you'd like an estimate of arrival date, or if you need a price for expedited shipping.

*Tracking is included, except for flats (items mailed in an envelope, such as instruction manuals and recipe booklets).

*I reclaim packing materials in order to keep shipping costs low and save natural resources. Printed receipts included upon request.
Refund is for purchase price less s/h, unless my error necessitates the return. I accept returns for any reason, even if you've simply changed your mind (the only exception is props buyers, though, as it's easy to abuse the privilege).
Lost items: full refund or replacement (if available) if tracking info says item didn't arrive within a reasonable amount of time, which varies by destination.

Damaged items: full or partial refund (I may request return or proof of damage). I double-box glassware and especially fragile items. I reserve the right to provide a replacement rather than a refund.
Should you require gift wrapping, a gift note, or have another special request, such as a longer return period, please ask.
Yes, absolutely! Some of my items don't show international shipping options, but I am happy to give a price quote upon request.
