I love the great graphics on this vintage Fonda shortening tin - what a great way to add a retro touch to your home! The blue and white graphics will add a fun pop of color to the kitchen, mudroom, or laundry room. Reads " 100 pounds Net, Fonda - A shortening made from Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, for Cakes, Baking, Frying, and Cooking. Distributed by Plankinton Packing Co., Milwaukee Wis."

Measures 19” tall by 16” diameter. Good overall condition, with some denting on the bottom, dings all around, and some small spots of surface rust on the top. Inside is clean; cover takes a little wiggling but does still go on and off pretty easily. Wire carrying handles on either side are still intact; miraculous considering this once held 100 pounds of lard!!

This is a very big tin, and will require quite a large box to ship safely. Shipping is estimated to the coasts and may be less the closer you are to the Midwest. And shipping overage of $2 or more will be promptly refunded. Shipping is quoted for the lower 48 states only; please contact me if you are in AK or HI. I am happy to ship internationally - please convo me for a quote if your country is not listed.
