Point Bonita Lighthouse - Marin County California - Lit in 1877 it's Fresnel lens was handmade in Paris in 1867 and is made of 1000 hand-cut lead crystal prisms. In operation for over 100 years, ten to twenty hours per day. Still standing, this lighthouse is actually the second Point Bonita Light, replacing an earlier structure further up the hill. Postcard is chrome, 3 1/2 inches by 5 1/2 inches and never used. NOTE: This postcard is a COPY of the original 1934 postcard.

I also have MotherMarysReligious and OldLadysThisandThat on Etsy.
