As I completed this bag, I couldn't help but think of the peaceful white clouds that drift across the Koʻolau Mountains overlooking Kāneʻohe Bay. The soft white-gray leather, relaxed silhouette, and gentle blue accents reminded me of those quiet island mornings when the mountains seem wrapped in clouds, and everything feels calm. That's why I chose the Hawaiian name Ao Mālie— "Peaceful Cloud." My hope is that carrying this bag brings a little of that same peaceful island feeling wherever life takes you.
