Syrian Hamster Door Topper – Wooden Winged Animal Wall Frame Dekor

Optimistic A.F. – Wooden Door Frame Figure

Every door deserves a little story.

The Door Stories are unusual wooden doorframe residents who have made themselves comfortable above your head – hopefully all unafraid of heights, slightly eccentric and determined to turn an ordinary doorway into their favourite place.

This little Syrian hamster has acquired two feathers and apparently left the rest to optimism. Whether this genuinely qualifies as a reliable flight plan is questionable, but confidence and determination certainly do not appear to be the problem.

SIZE:
Approximately 9.7 cm high × 7 cm wide
Approximately 3.82 × 2.76 inches
Material thickness: 4 mm.

This design is intended for the upper edge of a door frame. Its compact size also makes it suitable for smaller spaces, such as picture frames or beside a light switch.

MATERIAL & FINISH:
The figure is made from 4 mm MDF, veneered on both sides. The wood comes from responsibly managed, FSC-certified forests. The front is printed and sealed to help protect the surface. The reverse is individually hand-stamped with the Door Stories logo – slight irregularities in the stamp impression make every piece a little different.

Minor variations in colour, grain or surface appearance may occur due to the material.

ATTACHMENT:
Transparent, high-strength double-sided adhesive dots provide secure and nearly invisible attachment to clean, dry and smooth surfaces. The protective films are easiest to remove using tweezers. Position the figure where you want it, press gently for about the length of the chorus of your favourite song, and enjoy.

To remove the figure later, hold it carefully and slowly pull the adhesive dots out sideways, preferably using tweezers. On many suitable surfaces, they can be removed without leaving residue. Delicate wallpaper, wall paint or lacquered surfaces may nevertheless be damaged. When in doubt, test the adhesive on an inconspicuous area first.

For attachment to an unusual, strongly textured or particularly delicate surface, please contact me briefly before ordering.

FIRST OR SECOND QUALITY:
This design is available in first and second quality.

First-quality pieces meet my regular quality standard. Second-quality pieces have clearly visible surface irregularities, production-related imperfections in the wood or small areas of chipped print, which I conceal as carefully as possible. These imperfections do not affect the stability or function of the figure.

As the figure is usually displayed above direct eye level, the irregularities may be less noticeable in everyday use. However, they can still be visible depending on the viewing distance, placement and lighting. Please select second quality only if visible cosmetic imperfections are acceptable to you.

Second-quality pieces are marked accordingly on the reverse.

DESIGN:
Every design begins with an original idea, composition and a first sketch. And a second. And a third … I use AI-assisted tools for parts of the visual process, while some designs also incorporate historical or properly licensed vintage elements. Every draft is then adjusted, combined and digitally finished by me.

CARE & USE:
Door Stories are decorative items intended for dry indoor spaces. Dust gently or wipe carefully with a slightly damp cloth.

They are not toys and should be displayed out of reach of small children and pets.
