Painted by AI from one photo · checked by a real person.
The story is written with AI, and a person reads and approves every word.

Tell us the story only your family can tell - we write it, your child is painted into every page, and it is printed in the UK as a proper hardcover.

This is not a template with a name swapped in. A bespoke book starts with YOUR brief: the battle your child is fighting, the memory you want to keep, the adventure they keep asking for. We write a brand-new story around it, and your child - their real face, their hair, their own clothes, even the family pet - is painted into every single page.

READ HOW A REAL BESPOKE BOOK OPENS (Zuri, who was afraid of the dark)
At bedtime at Zuri's, the same battle ran:
'ALL of the lights on! The lamp AND the fan!'
For when the lights went, the dark came instead,
And draped its big coat on the end of the bed.

Four lines from a real one-off we made. Your child's book will read like this about THEIR battle, with THEIR name woven through the verses - and you read the story teaser BEFORE a single page is painted.

TRUE ONE-OFFS WE HAVE MADE
- A boy who refused to wear his new glasses became the hero of Theo and the See-More Glasses
- A girl afraid of the dark met the shy Velvet Dark, who needed her help
- A boy at war with his dinner plate discovered the Hungry Colours

WHAT YOUR CHILD COULD MEET: starting school, a new baby brother or sister, new glasses, fear of the dark, fussy eating, moving house, missing grandma or grandpa, saying goodbye to a much-loved pet, or an adventure that is entirely their own.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Order, fill in the personalisation box (name, she/he/they, age, and one or two lines about the story you want) and upload one clear photo.
2. We message you within a day to hear the full story - it takes two minutes to tell.
3. We write YOUR story and send you a real teaser to read first.
4. Your child is painted into every page. You see a PREVIEW and approve each page - tell us if anything is not right and we will fix it before printing.
5. Only when you say yes is the book printed in the UK as a 210 x 210 mm square hardcover on thick gloss paper, delivered free.

Nothing is printed until you approve, and you can cancel for a full refund until you approve your sample pages.

THE DETAILS
- Format: 210 x 210 mm square hardcover, approx 26 pages of full colour pictures
- A real person at our UK studio checks every single page
- Please allow 3 to 4 weeks - a story written from scratch takes a little longer, and it shows

OUR PHOTO PROMISE
Your photos are used only to make your book and deleted from our systems 30 days after your order is complete.

Little Tailor Books - stories cut to fit your child. If you are not sure whether your idea can be a book, send us a message first - we love these conversations.
