Description

Hawick of York, England made "he-man" toiletries in the 1940's. Their signature container was a stoneware crock bottle finished with a brown tortoise glaze.

Unlike the talc dispensers, this container is for after shave. It has a tin insert to dispenser the after shave in your palm and so you could slap it on that "he-man" face. It comes with it's original plastic cap with a center spike to fit into the tin fitting.

The crock with the cap measures about 4 1/2" tall and the bottom is marked. The stoneware is in excellent condition with the normal imperfections in the clay.

Great for a barber shop or shaving collection...also totally usable in a men's bathroom with a retro flair.
