Steuben Glass Works was an American art glass manufacturer, founded in the summer of 1903 by Frederick Carder and Thomas G. Hawkes in Corning, New York, which is in Steuben County from which the company name was derived.

This is a beautiful piece as are any Steubens. This one has an acid etched shield and the in German motto LEHR UND KUNST and this translates to 'Learning and Skilled Art'. This was created for the Worcester Polythecnic Institute in Worcester, Ma.

The acid etched signing is obvious.

This piece has a small flea bite on one corner and a couple of light scratches on one surface. Please see all photos.

This is fairly priced at $69 and this price includes free shipping in the USA.

International shipping is available and please see shipping profile GREGS for international rates.
