This beautiful handmade paper sheet is made with recycling cotton from the textile industry in Africa. This is a fair trade product.
The color is from the recycling cotton used to make the paper. No additional dyes or chemicals were used. The paper is lignin and acid free. No trees or plants were destroyed to make this paper.

I am happy to sell International!!!. If you are outside the US, please send me a convo with your order to calculate exact shipping price for you. I will send you a convo back with the shipping price and if you approve then I will make a custom order for you to buy the product. It might be more work, but until Etsy implement a way to calculate shipping based on weight, it is the only way.

The color of this paper is beige, a pastel color with small piece of plants inside. It is a nice paper of a neutral color that you will be a ble to combine with many other colors. We have 12 sheets left of this paper, so if you need more than one please convo us and we will list them for you.

This is a heavy paper with card stock consistency that will be excellent for your projects. Please see at the GSM to have an idea of the uses of this paper.

GSM is a measure of the thickness of the sheet of paper. In order to have an idea of the thickness of each sheet of paper please see its GSM and compare it to the following table:

10 - 40 gsm = tissue consistency
40 - 70 gsm = lighter text-weight
70 - 100 gsm = medium text weight. Regular office paper is usually around 80 GSM.
100 - 120 gsm = is heavy text weight/ light card-stock
120 - 150 gsm = is regular card-stock weight
150 - 200 gsm = is heavy card-stock
greater than 200 gsm is super heavy card-stock

These handmade papers are made following the Fair Trade Principles. They are made by communities of mainly women in Africa that uses the proceeds from their sales to improve their quality of living. These communities are trying to enter the US market with our help. It is a very good cause that Cotaproducts is actively pursuing. They make a lot of products with the handmade paper such as scrapbooks, journals, photo albums, etc. By buying these papers you are receiving a unique product that you won't find anywhere else in the US, and you are also helping people to provide for their families.
