THE LANGUAGE

Persia drew the first boteh. India wove it into Kashmir shawls. The Dutch shipped it to Europe and kept the name. The French printed their own version. Scotland copied it so well the town's name, Paisley, replaced the pattern's own.

Russia took it twice — folk florals in Ivanovo, then the avant-garde stripped it down to geometry.

Every few generations, someone takes the motif and makes it theirs.

THE CUT

LONG. Full body length, drop shoulder, oversized fit. Not cropped, not exaggerated — the length most people already picture when they think "oversized tee." It moves with you; Boxy sits where it's cut.

TWO WEIGHTS, YOUR CHOICE

Same length, same drop shoulder — but the feel is DRAMATICALLY DIFFERENT. Choose carefully.

— MIDWEIGHT · 5.6 OZ / 190 GSM. Drapes soft and easy. Breathable, still enough body to hold the drop shoulder clean. The lightest weight we make.
— HEAVYWEIGHT · 9.0 OZ / 305 GSM. Dense, substantial cotton, drop shoulder, straight side seam — the same oversized language as the 190 gsm, about 3 cm longer at every size.

THE DETAILS

— PREMIUM 100% COTTON, both weights.
— PRINTED ON A TOP-OF-THE-CLASS INDUSTRIAL DTG MACHINE. Water-based, non-toxic, biodegradable ink — worked into the cotton, not sitting on top. Sharp edges, deep line, no plastic hand.
— CLEAN CONSTRUCTION. Single-needle stitching throughout — collar, sleeve hem, and side seam, no twin-needle. Straight side seam from underarm to hem, no waist taper.
— DROPPED SHOULDER on both weights, REINFORCED with a self-fabric tape stitched over the shoulder seam — the seam sits out past your actual shoulder point, which is most of why these read oversized instead of just "big."
— PRINTED IN LOS ANGELES. Made to order at our partner's LA facility, then shipped domestic.
— BLANKS FROM CHINA. That's where the cut and the fabric quality are right now. We say it plainly.
— PACKED WITHOUT PLASTIC. Biodegradable and recycled packaging.
— Machine wash cold at 30°C, inside out, with similar colors. No bleach. Hang or tumble dry low. Iron inside out, not on the print.

WHERE THIS COMES FROM

We spent years designing upholstery and textiles for interior design projects. And we kept running into the same problem: the market was too quiet. Not enough pattern. Not enough color. Not enough conviction. Maharam, Casamance — yes, working with them was always a pleasure. But we wanted our own voice. So we started drawing.

Yes, AI tools may have had a hand in these photos. The design we had to draw ourselves. Old school.
