HOW IT WORKS
1. Open Rate Card. Enter your all-in hourly cost per role — wage plus payroll burden, not the rate you bill.
2. Open Settings. Set your overhead percentage and the profit margin you want every job to earn.

FAQ

Q: Does it handle exterior work?
A: Yes. Add access equipment to the equipment field and use the high-ceilings add-on; the labor and materials logic is unchanged.

Q: How do I quote wallpapering?
A: Add the hanger to the rate card and the paper as a material priced per roll. Prep is still its own line.

Q: Does this work in Excel and Google Sheets?
A: Both, and it was tested in both. Google Sheets: File > Import, or open and make a copy. Excel 365: open it directly. No macros, no add-ons, nothing to install. One difference worth knowing: Google Sheets draws both charts but leaves the figures off the bars, so the dollar amounts on the charts are an Excel-only touch. Everything you type and every number the workbook calculates is identical in the two.

Q: What is the service tier for?
A: It scales labor hours for work that is harder than routine. Standard is 1.0, Complex 1.15, Premium 1.30. Enter the hours a routine job would take and let the tier do the multiplying.

Q: I'm not confident with spreadsheets. Will I manage?
