Most homeschool record books are undated. That means you write the date and the weekday on every row you fill, all year, and work out for yourself which squares are the weekends. This one is already dated. The real dates, the real weekdays, the weekends already shaded, in your school year's own order.

EVERY DATE, ALREADY WRITTEN

This is the difference, and you can check it in the photos. Open August and the first row reads 1, Sat. The last reads 31, Mon. Every Saturday and Sunday is shaded before you touch it. You never write a date, and you never draw a row.

Each month sheet also prints how many weekdays that month holds, and names the US federal holidays that fall in it, for reference. They are not assumed to be days off, because plenty of homeschooling families school straight through them.

PICK THE MONTH YOUR YEAR STARTS

Twelve versions, one for each start month from July 2026 to June 2027, each running twelve months from there. If your year starts in August, your book runs August to July. If it starts in January, it runs January to December. Already a few months in? Pick the month you started, not the month it is now.

BOTH PAPER SIZES

US Letter and A4 are both in the download, for all twelve start months. Print at 100 percent, or "actual size". If your printer offers "fit to page", turn it off, or the margins shift.

It is readable in black and white. The shaded weekends still read as shaded, and the pages are mostly white, so it does not drink ink.

WHAT THIS IS NOT

It is not legal advice, and it cannot tell you what the rules are where you live. It records what you did. What counts as a school day, or an hour, is decided where you live and not by this book. You will not find a day count or an hours figure printed anywhere in it, because those numbers differ from one state to the next and they change.

It does not calculate. Paper carries nothing from one page to the next, so the totals are yours to write. A book that adds up for you is a book you would have to trust.

It is a printable PDF, and it is not editable. No Canva file, no spreadsheet, no app.

It is not a curriculum and it is not a planner. It records the year you taught. It does not plan it.

And because it is dated, one book covers one school year.
