Highlights

Most journals want something from you. A streak. A rating out of five. A grade for
how well you did at being a person today.

This one does not.

─────────────────────────────

PLEASE READ THIS FIRST

This journal is a place to notice things. It is not therapy, it is not treatment, and
it cannot diagnose anything.

Writing things down helps a lot of people, and it is not a substitute for
professional support. If things are hard right now, please talk to a doctor, a
therapist, or someone you trust.

─────────────────────────────

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT

▸ Nothing in here scores you
Most journals ask you to rate your own self-talk out of five, every day. Doing that
on a bad day tends to make the bad day worse. There is no rating, no grade and no
way to do it wrong.

▸ No streaks, and nothing resets
Skip a week. Skip a month. Come back. It will not have kept count, and there is no
tally anywhere of what you did not finish.

▸ The help pages come near the front
Filled in on a good day, ready for a bad one. Space for your doctor, your
therapist, your crisis line, and the people who actually help.

▸ Grounding techniques that are safe
Breathing, senses, movement, changing the room. Nothing that relies on pain,
cold or shock — those are not coping tools and they are not in here.

▸ Undated
No month to waste, nothing to keep up with. Print the daily page as many times as
you like, forever.

WHAT IS INSIDE — 21 PAGES

This journal belongs to — and a note to whoever finds it
How to use this — six things, including permission to skip days
If you need help now — your people, your numbers
It is okay to ask for help — when it is worth talking to someone qualified
Today (three versions) — the daily check-in page
Mood tracker — a month in squares
Toolbox (two pages) — ten things to try on a harder day
My early signs — your own pattern, written down while you can see it
This week / this month — short reflection pages
Before and after an appointment — notes that survive the journey home
Things that have helped — a list to read on a bad day
Things I am quietly proud of — they count even if nobody noticed
Anything at all — blank and lined pages

─────────────────────────────

THE DAILY PAGE

Five faces to circle. Thirty words for how it feels, plus blank lines because
sometimes none of them fit. A gentle self-care list — ate something, drank water,
went outside, spoke to someone. Then three prompts: what is on my mind, something
good however small, and one kind thing I would say to a friend in my position.

Two minutes on a good day. Two ticks on a hard one. Both count.

─────────────────────────────

A NOTE ON CRISIS NUMBERS

The journal includes a page for emergency and crisis contacts with space for you to
fill in your own.

For readers in the United States, it names the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline — call
or text 988, or chat at 988lifeline.org.

For everywhere else, it deliberately does not print a list. Crisis line numbers
differ by country and change over time, and a wrong number in a journal is worse than
no number. It asks you to look up your local service now, while you are calm, and
write it down.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

- A4 journal (21 pages, PDF)
- US Letter journal (the same 21 pages, PDF)
- Read Me First guide

Instant download. Nothing is posted.

─────────────────────────────

HOW TO PRINT IT

Print single-sided on plain paper and clip it together, or take it to a print shop
and have it spiral-bound. Print ten daily pages and one mood tracker, or print the
whole thing. There is no right amount.

─────────────────────────────

WHO THIS IS FOR

Anyone who has bought a beautiful journal and then felt guilty for not filling it in.
People in therapy who want somewhere to put the week in between sessions. People not
in therapy who want somewhere to put things anyway. Anyone who finds the very tidy,
very positive wellness journals a bit much on a bad day.

It also makes a gentle gift — for a friend going through it, or for someone who has
been holding a lot for other people.
