To preserve the softness and shape of the aloaca merino cashmere knit, gentle hand washing or professional dry cleaning is recommended.
Wool fibers have a scale structure, similar to human hair. This makes it difficult for wool to get wet, prevents dirt from sticking to it, and prevents bacteria from multiplying. The very important feature is the so-called self-cleaning of the fibers upon contact with oxygen. Thanks to these features, washing wool clothes is not necessary as often as washing other clothes. It's definitely better to air out natural wool garments frequently (bur not in the sun!) than wash. It might be hard to believe at first but it really works – just try it once and this method of "washing" wool will become your favorite. Eventually, however, there comes a point when you no longer want to just freshen up the clothes, but rather actually wash them or even remove something specific from the surface. Then there's no other way - we have to wash the clothes.
​To keep your wool clothes in its original shape:
​Hand wash in cool water (max. 30°C) using a gentle wool detergent without softeners.
​Lay flat to dry, away from direct sunlight.
​Do not hang, do not tumble dry.
