First of all, the sweet Jackson style petticoat, sold in 1942 in a cotton print fabric! How fun! It is trimmed with cotton Valenciennes lace, too.

Then, her dress! It is our interpretation of the Mille Fleurs (Thousand Flowers) style sold and advertised in Les Veillees des Chaumieres in 1942.It is shown in a soft cotton in an allover floral pattern in pinks and blues. The neck and sleeves are bound with silk satin ribbon, and she also has a matching ribbon sash. The neck bow adds a charming grace note.

And now her coat and hat! It is a style shown in the big blue book by Couturier and Odin, and identified as sold by G-L in the years 1942-1946, although it wasn't advertised. I made mine in a slightly lustrous cotton/silk fabric, and topstitched it in blue... plus blue buttons. It is constructed with Princess seams, and shoulder to waist tapering tucks both front and back.

We are sure your doll would love to be cosseted right into this adorable ensemble!

The pattern is beautifully printed, with a full color cover showing several views. It is contained in a heavy plastic sleeve which you can insert into a binder. This Bleuette clothing was made to fit the Janice Naibert type Bleuette body, (approx 10 and 5/8" tall with head) but should fit others as well. Please convo if you have any questions. This clothing should also fit (perhaps with minor adjustments) dolls with well proportioned bodies, which measure 10"-11"..

You are buying the pattern only... the doll and accessories shown in the photos are not included. Doll clothing made by, and the pattern designed and published by Dede Kern
