Philodendron Ring of Fire Variegated Live Plant | Serrated Collector Aroid Houseplant

PHILODENDRON ‘RING OF FIRE’

SERRATED FLAMES OF GREEN, CREAM, LIME AND GOLD

Ring of Fire is a Philodendron that becomes more interesting in two dimensions at once. Its foliage develops increasingly sculptural, serrated edges while the leaf surface carries unpredictable combinations of deep green, cream, yellow and lime.

The outline and the pattern evolve together. Young leaves can begin narrower and more lightly toothed; increasingly mature foliage can develop pronounced, almost flame-like serration that gives the cultivar its name.

THE FIRE IS IN THE FORM

Ring of Fire does not depend on color alone. Even a greener leaf can be extraordinary once its elongated blade develops the deeply cut, irregular edge characteristic of mature growth.

Against that sculptural outline, variegation adds another layer: fine yellow speckling, cream marbling, lime streaks and broader sectors may all appear across different leaves.

A PLANT THAT NEVER LOOKS FINISHED

One leaf may be delicately flecked. Another can carry a broad cream section. The next may emerge with a different balance of green and yellow while developing a more dramatic edge.

New foliage can also shift in tone as it opens and hardens. The plant therefore changes through both color and morphology rather than simply increasing in size.

GROWTH & MATURITY

Ring of Fire develops an increasingly substantial tropical form as it matures. Give the foliage room to expand and, as the stem develops, provide suitable support when useful to organize the specimen.

The most compelling plants are built over time as increasingly mature leaves accumulate around the developing structure.

SELECT YOUR PLANT

Choose your preferred available growth stage from the dropdown. Pot measurements refer to the nursery container rather than total plant height.

WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE

CARE FOR BEAUTIFUL GROWTH

Light
Provide bright, indirect or filtered light. Protect pale foliage from prolonged harsh direct sun.

Water
Water thoroughly when the upper portion of the growing medium begins to dry, then allow excess water to drain freely.

Growing medium
Use a loose, airy and well-draining aroid mix.

Humidity and warmth
Moderate humidity and warm indoor conditions support attractive foliage development. Protect from frost and cold drafts.

ARRIVAL & ACCLIMATION

Unpack promptly, check the growing medium and provide stable bright indirect light. Allow the plant time to settle before repotting or making major environmental changes.

Philodendrons are not safe to ingest. Keep out of reach of pets and small children.
