There were a series of these patterns in the 1960's onwards to introduce the "new" Lochinvar yarn. I think this was one of the first self-striping yarns which when incorporated into knitted garments created a Fair-Isle look.

This cardigan uses the yarn to knit a border pattern on the pockets, sleeves and collar.

The yarn is D.K.and the sweater will fit 35 to 37 inch bust.
I have not re-written this pattern, it is a scanned copy slightly enlarged for easy to read.

Sent to you as a pdf by email, you will need Adobe Reader to view and print off your copy.

I have other Lochinvar patterns to list - so come back soon!
