A Christmas junk journal kit that will not empty a cartridge, drawn from scratch, with a 25 day December album pack inside the same download.

29 printable sheets in US Letter and in A4, laid out separately rather than scaled.

WHAT IS THIS GOING TO COST ME IN INK?
That is the question nobody in this category answers, so this kit answers it with a number. Every sheet was measured before it shipped, using Ghostscript's ink_cov on the very PDFs you receive. The average sheet carries 11.3% ink coverage. The lightest is 8.4%, the heaviest is 20.7%, and all 29 per sheet figures are listed one by one on page 5 of the guide, so you can re-run the measurement on your own copy and check every one. For scale, a full bleed saturated sheet measures about 35% the same way, and black ink, the cartridge that dies first, sits at 0.4% across this whole kit. That is possible because nothing here is a full bleed saturated wash. It is line work, coarse halftone dots and flat tint on a cream ground, with a quarter inch unprinted margin on all four sides of every sheet. If you have ever run a 100 page paper pack and watched a cartridge die in an afternoon, this is the difference.

IS THIS ORIGINAL, OR IS IT SCANNED VINTAGE PAPER?
Every mark in this kit was drawn from scratch as original vector artwork. There is no scanned ephemera in it, no AI generated imagery, and no third party stock. That matters for a reason beyond taste. A kit built from scanned material cannot honestly offer you a commercial license, because the seller does not hold clear rights to what they scanned. This one can, and it does: you may sell finished handmade items you make with it.

There is a second reason it matters. The period correct way to print Christmas ephemera between about 1900 and 1950 was line, dot and flat spot color on cream stock, because that is what the presses did. So the historically accurate design and the cheap to print design turned out to be exactly the same design. Nothing here is a compromise.

WILL THE PIECES COME OUT THE RIGHT SIZE?
Every cut element prints inside four corner ticks, and the cut line is the stated size. A 6 x 8 album cover trims to 6 x 8. A 3 x 4 journaling card trims to 3 x 4. A 1.8 in day tile trims to 1.8 in. Those are checked against the drawn geometry rather than against the label on the sheet. Print at 100% or Actual Size, borderless off, and use the Letter file for Letter and the A4 file for A4.

Almost all of it is straight line cutting. A ruler or a guillotine trimmer will do a whole sheet in about a minute. Only the round labels genuinely need scissors.

WHAT IS INCLUDED
- 01 Start Here and License, 5 pages: print settings, paper, cutting, the two ways to use the kit, the measured per sheet ink table, and your commercial license
- 02 Base Papers, US Letter: 16 original papers
- 03 Base Papers, A4: the same 16
- 04 Ephemera, Letter and A4: 7 sheets of tags, tickets, apothecary labels, journaling cards, round labels, pennants, 2 x 2 fillers and quote strips
- 05 Album Pack, Letter and A4: 6 sheets, a 6 x 8 cover, all 25 numbered day tiles plus blanks, two dividers and photo mats

THE 16 BASE PAPERS
Holly toile, pine stripe, ledger, manuscript, typewriter grid, snowflake dot, candy diagonal, star field, bauble drop, foxed tonal, postmark, mistletoe, gingham, putz village, ribbon lattice, and a deliberately misregistered two color plate.

TWO WAYS TO USE IT
As a junk journal: fold the base papers into signatures, tuck the tags and tickets into the gutters, and let it get fat.
As a 25 day December album: one numbered tile a day, a photo mat opposite, and two dividers to break up the month. It fits a standard 6 x 8 ring album.

YOUR LICENSE
Print it forever for yourself. Sell finished handmade items you make by hand with it, in reasonable small shop quantities. Use it in a class you teach, as long as each student has their own copy. Give away journals, cards, tags and albums you make. The one thing you may not do is resell or share the files themselves.

PLEASE NOTE
This is a digital download. Nothing ships. Your files are available the moment your payment clears. Colors vary a little between printers and papers, which is normal for a cream ground design. 24 lb / 90 gsm paper is right for the base papers and the ephemera; 65 lb / 176 gsm cardstock is better for the tags and the day tiles.
