WHY THIS ONE
Every reference figure printed in it is the UK one, not a US import.
- The hours pages are ruled to the actual limits: GB domestic rules (10 hours driving, 11 hours duty) printed alongside EU/AETR rules (9 hours driving, 10 hours twice a week, 45-minute break after 4.5 hours, 56-hour week, 90 hours per fortnight), plus the Road Transport working time 48-hour average. You can see which set applies to you before you write a thing.
- The walkaround pages carry a numbered defect report with a rectification signature line, and a reminder that operators are expected to retain these records for 15 months.
- The mileage log runs a cumulative business-mile counter against the approved mileage allowance threshold, so 45p dropping to 25p at 10,000 miles is visible as it happens instead of being discovered in April.
- Fuel is logged in litres with the x4.546 conversion pre-printed, because no UK pump sells gallons.
- Weekly and monthly total boxes are already laid out for mileage, fuel, expenses and profit — you add up into a box that exists, rather than scribbling in a margin.
