Highlights

A Kanban board in Excel — with no macros.

Most Excel kanban templates need VBA. Macros get blocked at work, they do not exist in Google Sheets at all, and the moment you switch device the whole thing falls apart.

This one is built from ordinary formulas. Set a status on the TASKS tab and the card appears in that column of the board, carrying its owner, its due date and its priority. Change the status and it moves. That is it.

And the board is only one of sixteen tabs.

You type a task once, on the TASKS tab. Then look at it however you need to:

KANBAN — six live columns: Backlog, To Do, In Progress, Review, Blocked, Done. Each with a task count in the header. Overdue cards turn red on their own.

GANTT — a rolling timeline where the bars draw themselves from your start and due dates. Green for complete, teal for in progress, red for overdue, grey for weekends and a gold line that marks today and moves every day. Type 1 in "days per column" for a daily plan or 7 for a quarterly view.

CALENDAR — any month, showing how many tasks are due on each day and naming the first one. Today is always highlighted.

MATRIX — the Eisenhower grid. Do Now, Schedule It, Delegate, Drop. Sorted for you from urgency and priority, with the done ones dropping out automatically.

WORKLOAD — open hours against each person's real weekly capacity. OVERLOADED in red, AVAILABLE in green, so you know who to hand the next job to.

DASHBOARD — twelve live metrics and twelve action alerts across every project.
