Seller's description

Routine charts that end the nagging. Picture versions for children who
cannot read yet, written ones for those who can, and blanks to build your
own. For ages 4 to 12.

WHAT YOU GET
- 13 page PDF, instant download
- Morning and bedtime charts in a picture version
- Morning, evening and after school charts in a written version
- Blank charts in both versions so you can build your own
- A getting out of the door checklist
- A weekly tick chart with all seven days on one page
- A certificate

THE PICTURE VERSION
Each step has an empty circle where your child draws their own icon.
That is deliberate. A child who draws the picture themselves reads the
chart far more readily than one handed a printed icon, and neatness is
completely irrelevant.

Good for children who cannot read yet, and for anybody who follows a
picture more easily than a line of text.

THE WRITTEN VERSION
Four to six steps with a week of tick boxes beside each one. Tick a box
each day it gets done without being reminded.

WHY IT ACTUALLY WORKS
A routine chart works because it moves the reminding off you and onto a
piece of paper. Your child checks the chart instead of you telling them,
which is a much smaller battle than the one you are having now.

The child ticks it, not you. The ticking is the reward and it has to be
theirs, even on the mornings when doing it yourself would be faster.

When something is missed, point at the chart and ask what is next rather
than naming the thing. The chart does the nagging.

THE DETAILS
- US Letter 8.5 x 11, prints clearly in black and white
- Laminate or use a plastic wallet with a dry wipe pen to reuse forever
- A pencil and something to stick it up with
- Print as many times as you like for children in your own household
