**Reseda Odorata Seeds – Reseda odorata**

Reseda odorata, commonly known as Sweet Mignonette, is a charming annual flowering plant valued for its delicate appearance and exceptionally sweet fragrance. The small greenish-white flowers are arranged in elegant clusters above fresh green foliage and release a pleasant honey-like scent.

**Plant Characteristics**

Common Name: Sweet Mignonette, Mignonette
Plant Type: Annual
Flower Color: Greenish-white to pale yellow
Growth Habit: Low-growing and branching

Light: Full sun to partial shade
Soil: Well-drained soil
Fragrance: Strong and sweet

**Garden Uses**

Sweet Mignonette is an excellent choice for cottage gardens, flower borders, containers, window boxes and fragrance gardens. Its compact growth makes it suitable for smaller spaces, while its wonderful fragrance makes it especially enjoyable when planted near seating areas, pathways and entrances.

**Flowers and Fragrance**

The flowers are small and understated compared with many brightly colored garden plants, but their delicate greenish-white appearance is complemented by an exceptionally pleasant fragrance. The sweet scent is one of the main reasons gardeners have grown Mignonette for generations.

**Growing Instructions**

Sow seeds directly outdoors after the danger of severe frost has passed, or start indoors several weeks earlier. Cover seeds lightly with soil and keep the growing medium evenly moist until germination.

Plant in full sun or partial shade with fertile, well-drained soil. Avoid excessive watering and provide good air circulation. For the best fragrance experience, grow the plants near pathways, windows or outdoor sitting areas.
