Flight Dynamics Division Crew Shirt | Orbital Mechanics Workwear

Issued flight-dynamics workwear for personnel authorized to change the trajectory.

BEHIND THE DESIGN
An engine fires.

For a brief moment a spacecraft changes its velocity.

The consequences continue long after the engine falls silent.

In orbit where you make that change matters. So does its direction. A burn at one point can raise the far side of an orbit and alter a journey thousands of kilometers away.

The Hohmann transfer gives that relationship a particularly elegant form.

Two circular orbits. An ellipse connecting them. One burn to begin the transfer. Another to settle into the destination orbit.

Between them the spacecraft coasts.

The maneuver takes its name from Walter Hohmann, the German engineer whose 1925 work described one of the most efficient ways to move between two circular orbits.

That balance of intervention and patience became the starting point for Orbital Mechanics Flight Dynamics.

We imagined the diagram as something issued by a flight dynamics division. A procedure worth understanding before anyone touches the controls.

The arrows are small.

What follows them is not.

EVERY BURN HAS CONSEQUENCES.

We chose this idea because orbital mechanics makes the relationship between action and consequence visible. The decision happens here.

Its full effect may unfold on the other side of the world.

The engine stops.

The new trajectory continues.

Beauty. Discovery. Depth.

THE EDITION
Crew Edition. Small front-left-chest identifier with the full approved design on the back.

THE SHIRT
Unisex T-shirt
• Available in Crew neck and V-neck
• Black and Navy
• Final size range follows the live Etsy size chart
• Printed on demand using DTG printing

NECKLINE NOTE
“Crew Edition” describes the artwork placement, not the collar. Both Original and Crew Editions can be ordered with either a crew neck or V-neck.

PRINTING AND FULFILLMENT
Proof & Particle creates and verifies the original artwork. Printful, our disclosed production partner, prints, packages, and ships each shirt only after it is ordered. Slight variations can occur because ink interacts with natural fabric fibers.

CARE
Wash cold, inside out, with similar colors. Tumble dry low. Do not bleach, dry clean, or iron directly over the print.

DESIGN TRANSPARENCY
Generative tools supported early concept exploration and blank-garment mockups. Every final word, equation, symbol, and technical diagram is independently prepared and checked by Proof & Particle.

MADE TO ORDER
Please consult the size chart for the selected neckline before purchasing. If an item arrives damaged, misprinted, or incorrect, contact us through Etsy with photographs so we can make it right.

FABRIC WEIGHT & SHRINKAGE
Our Bella + Canvas cotton tees are soft and lightweight (4.2 oz/yd² / 142 g/m²), not heavyweight shirts. Pre-shrunk does not mean shrink-proof. Warm or hot washing and high dryer heat can cause additional shrinkage and affect the print. Follow the garment label: wash cold, inside out, on a gentle cycle with mild detergent and similar colors. Avoid bleach and fabric softener. Air dry or tumble dry low; do not iron the print or dry clean.
