If using an iPad, the Requirements are :
iPad(model 2017 or above) | compatible MIDI App | your Piano must have USB-to-Host port | iPad to USB converters, cables
• Your Piano or Electronic Keyboard needs to have a USB-to-Host port (to use self-tutoring features)
• USB-to-Host port is a USB-B port (USB connectivity from the piano to a computer)
• A compatible MIDI software is required. We recommend Synthesia software, which will open up many features available in our LED visualizer, especially for beginners to speed up practice.
• The requirement is that you need to connect both the Piano and i-Piano LED Visualizer to a Computer or an iPad, then use a compatible MIDI software to interface.


If using a Computer, the Requirements are:
Computer | compatible MIDI App | MIDI-supported Piano | MIDI cables
• Your Piano or Electronic Keyboard needs to have a USB-to-Host port or MIDI-out port to use self-tutoring features.
• USB-to-Host port is a USB-B port (USB connectivity from the piano to a computer)
• If the Piano has a traditional MIDI-Out(Round 5Pin), you may need a MIDI 5pin DIN to USB cable converter to connect to the computer.
• Simply, the requirement is that you need to connect both the Piano and i-Piano LED Visualizer to the Computer.
• A compatible MIDI App. required. We recommend Synthesia software, which will open up many features available in our LED visualizer, especially for beginners to learn.

* If you need the LED strip to be cut and fit to the exact keyboard length, send us the Keyboard length. Since you haven't seen the product, cutting to the exact size is risky, because after receiving the LED strip, your layout requirements may vary. So we recommend ordering a standard length LED strip, and later we will guide you to cut the LED strip if you really require cutting. But we recommend not cutting.

(1) Free Play Mode: The Visualizer light strip reacts to the notes being played.
