Classic deep and dark burgundy is combined with a fresh and light shade of green to recreate the feel of spending a lovely Summer day on a vineyard...

I have been dyeing my own spinning fibres and yarns for several years now as despite there being such a huge choice of pretty commercial sock yarns out there, I could never find the right balance between colourful and elegant. This is what I try to achieve in my own dyeing and what hopefully shines through in my handspun yarns as well.

The yarn is a 4-ply superwash Merino wool with added manmade fibre for strength and durability, you can even wash this in the washing machine on a low temperature.
This yarn usually knits up in a spiral pattern, but the exact outcome will always remain a bit of a surprise. :)

75% Merino wool superwash/25% Polyamid, 420m/459 yards, 100g/3.5oz

Hand dyed in a smoke and pet free home. The yarn is millspun at a small mill in Germany.
