Custom Dog Portrait from Photo, Muddy Dog in the Puddle on the Farm, Retro Travel Poster Artwork, Rustic Wall Art, Art Print or Canvas

Seller's description

A custom dog portrait, digitally illustrated from your photo: welcome to Mud Creek, the finest natural spa in the county, where the water is brown, the fields are gold, and the towels are your problem.

Send us a clear photo and we'll illustrate your dog into this vintage travel poster scene. The wide golden fields, the layered vista, and that gloriously muddy puddle stay just as you see them, and the creek's happiest bather becomes unmistakably YOUR dog, carrying over their true coloring, eye color, and essential markings. Shown here with our example dog, but this creek belongs to YOUR dog, whatever their coloring. The caked paws, the mid-wag tail, and that top-of-the-world joy are part of the design. The dog is all yours.

Part of The Pet Atlas collection:
World-class destination. Zero travel required.
A personalized, vintage travel-poster-style digital artwork celebrating wherever your pet has decided is paradise. Because the dog who has never once been tired of the same throw is exactly the one you want on your wall.

Your portrait is a one-of-a-kind artistic rendering, not a photographic copy. We capture the essence of your dog: the true coloring and the essential markings that make them recognizable at a glance, interpreted in this collection's vintage travel poster style. And because it's created from your photo, for you alone, no other artwork like it exists anywhere in the world.

WHO IT'S FOR
Perfect for mudrooms, farmhouses, and entryways with a sense of humor, dog moms and dog dads who keep towels by every door, gotcha days, birthdays, housewarmings. It's also a heartfelt way to honor the dog who finds the one puddle in a hundred acres.

IN LOVING MEMORY
Every pet draws their own map of home: the sunny ledge, the corner of the couch, the spot by the door where they waited for you. For a pet who is no longer by your side, this scene becomes a memory portrait of the place that was always theirs, and of the bright, slightly silly joy they brought to it. A tribute to every spot they claimed, and to the pet who made each one feel like home.

Only have older photos? Send the best few you have, up to 4, and we'll look closely at every one before we begin. If they can't carry enough detail, we'll tell you honestly before any work starts. Not sure? Message us before you order.

If this portrait is in memory of your pet, just mention it in your order notes.

WHAT YOU GET
Your finished portrait as museum-quality wall art in your choice of material: a fine art print on archival paper, ready for the frame of your choice, or a gallery canvas that arrives stretched, wrapped, and ready to hang, no framing needed. Every size comes in both materials: 8x10, 11x14, 16x20, or 24x30 inches. Pick your material and size from the dropdowns. Made to order and proofed first: you approve your portrait before anything is printed, and then your order ships straight to your door.
For Christmas delivery (US), order by December 5.

CHOOSING YOUR PHOTO
Your photo tells us how your dog LOOKS: coloring, eye color, and essential markings. The pose and scene come from the artwork. A great photo makes a great portrait, so please check these six things:

• FACE THE CAMERA: both eyes, the full muzzle, and both ears visible. (A three-quarter body turn is fine, as long as the face itself is toward the lens, not turned away.)
• SHARP: zoom in on the face: if you can't see individual fur strands, retake it. No motion blur.
• BRIGHT, NATURAL LIGHT: daylight or window light. No dim rooms, lamp glow, or flash; we need your dog's true colors.
• CLOSE, BUT NOT CROPPED: near enough to see facial detail, with the whole head, ears, and chest still in frame.
• THEIR NATURAL LOOK: no costumes, outfits, or accessories. (Collar on or off in the artwork? Tell us at checkout.)
• THE ORIGINAL FILE: full-size, straight from your phone. No screenshots, filters, or photos texted between phones (texting shrinks them).

ABOUT OUR PROCESS
Every scene in our shop is an original design, digitally illustrated in the style of vintage WPA travel posters. Placing your dog into it isn't a one-click trick: our own custom-built studio software uses AI-assisted compositing to fit your dog into the artwork, and then a real designer takes over: checking your dog's markings and colors against your photos, retouching in Photoshop where needed, and approving every portrait personally before it reaches you. The technology speeds up the process; the judgment, corrections, and finishing are human.

FAQ
Q: Is Mud Creek a real place?
A: It's the puddle your dog can hear from a quarter mile away. Up the creek without a towel. Every destination in The Pet Atlas is a real place in spirit: the spots our pets have decided are paradise.

Q: Will it actually look like my dog?
A: We capture your dog's essence: true coloring, eye color, and the essential markings a friend would recognize them by, interpreted in our vintage travel poster style. It's an artistic rendering, not a photographic replica, and you'll approve a proof before printing.

Q: What if I want changes to my proof?
A: Request tweaks within 48 hours of receiving your proof, up to two rounds included free (about 24-48 hours each). No reply within 48 hours and we send it to print as shown, keeping your order on schedule. Once it's printed, it can't be changed, and anything you could have caught in the proof isn't eligible for a refund or reprint. Each round of changes, or any wait for your reply, moves printing and delivery back by the same amount.

Q: What photos work best?
A: See CHOOSING YOUR PHOTO above and the visual guide in the listing images. When in doubt, upload a few and we'll pick the winner.

Q: Can you do two dogs?
A: This creek hosts one bather at a time. Every portrait in our shop stars a single pet. Two pets? Two portraits hung side by side make a wonderful pair.

Q: How fast will I get it?
A: Your proof arrives within 3 business days of your order, often sooner. One caveat: if your photos don't pass our quality check, we'll message you right away for replacements, and the timeline starts once usable photos arrive. Once you approve it, your print or canvas goes into production and ships to your door (delivery estimates show at checkout). Need it faster? Add our Rush upgrade to your cart for a proof within 1 business day of your order.
