Anubis was the Egyptian god of the dead, depicted with the body of a man and the distinctive black head of a Jackal or dog. Turn yourself into the God of the Underworld!

Do you want to create something different and impress at a party or event? Do you enjoy being crafty?

Look no further! You can make your own 3D geometric mask, using the templates and instructions I created. How you decorate it, is limited only by your imagination. You don’t need to be a crafts expert. The instructions are easy to follow and with a little patience and creativity, anyone can make their own unique mask.

You will be able to download the templates and instructions for the mask immediately after purchase. The file contains a 12 page PDF document that you can print on normal paper. All pieces of the template fit in single sheets of paper.

**The templates will fit in A4 and US Letter paper**

Glue the templates on card of your choice and cut them. Thin cardboard or card of around 300gsm is ideal, but you can use any cardboard that can be scored and creased easily.

Assemble the pieces using double-sided tape or fast drying glue and finally make your mask unique by decorating it any way you like. Try using different coloured or metallic card, paint it or glue a variety of materials on it, from glitter to feathers. The sleek geometric design is suitable for various themes and events. The possibilities are endless. Building the mask will probably take you about 3 hours.

The templates are made to fit an average adult head. You can use your printer’s settings to scale them down, if you want to fit the mask to a child (around 80%).

Please note that you are buying the templates and instructions only. You will need to print them out, follow the instructions to make the mask and get any materials and tools you want to use.

This mask was pretty dope. Took me about 3 hours to build and decorate, but it was totally worth it. Directions were super easy to follow. Definitely recommend using a sharp x-acto and a ruler over scissors to cut the pieces out. Also recommend using a glue stick to initially secure the flaps, but then covering the joins with scotch tape. This made the whole mask feel more secure and durable. It fit my head really well, but I ended up glueing a 1"x2" chunk of a dish sponge inside on the back to make it fit snugly and allow me to see well (wore it to a dark club dance party).

This mask was easy to make and looked incredible for our Anubis photoshoot! (I did not use the ears, as I had made material ones with the headpiece)

My daughter needed a visual for a report she wrote and this was perfect. The directions were great, matching the numbers helped tremendously. Scoring the cardstock took the most time, but very worth it to get the clean folds. My only advice is to cut the white paper back from edges if you don’t want any white to show on the edges. And use a very good double sided tape between both white and black papers so they’ll hold well. *her teacher asked to keep her mask so I’d say it’s a very impressive project. Thank you!

Thank you for this brilliant template! I used a heavier card to make it a bit more resistant. After reading the other reviews, I taped the template peices to the card to cut out and score, then removed the white paper. It took a whole morning to make. My son (6) is wearing it as Anubis from a time travel story for World Book Day at school.
