🔧 HOW IT WORKS

1. On Setup, pick your mode (BACB Fieldwork, Pre-Licensure or Clinical Rotations), your rule set and fieldwork type, your start date, any hours already signed off, and your supervisors with their credentials.

2. Log sessions and read the band. The invented sample is Casey Rowan, supervised fieldwork under the 2027 rules since Jun 1, 2026, with 137 log rows and two supervisors. June, July and August pass at 6.0%, 6.4% and 6.2% supervised. September stands at 4.1% on 49.0 hours, UNDER the 5% rule, and the tile says to add 0.5 supervised hours. Change the Sep 10 supervision session from 1.0 to 2.5 hours and it reads 6.9%, MET, and the projected completion moves from Jan 1, 2028 to Dec 30, 2027. The file stands at 372.5 of 2,000 hours (18.6%), with 72.5% unrestricted against the 60% minimum.

3. At month end, pick the month and the supervisor on BACB Verification and print your record to copy onto the BACB's form. Monthly Summary and the Dashboard show every month, the months to go and the projected finish.

What do I need to open it? Do I need Canva? No Canva. Use Excel 2016 or later on Windows or Mac, or Google Sheets: open ACCESS-YOUR-TEMPLATE.pdf and click Make a copy, or upload the .xlsx to Google Drive. There are no macros and nothing to install, and every formula result ships saved, so the sample shows before anything recalculates.

What does it work out? Each month's hours, supervised hours and supervision percentage against the rule in use; PASS or FLAG for hours, supervision, contacts, observation and the individual share; the hours that count, the running total and percent complete; the unrestricted share; the five-year window; months to go and a projected completion date. In the other modes: pre-licensure totals with a projected licensure date, rotation pace and skills, and CEU totals by category.

Does it certify my hours or replace the BACB form? No. It tracks and computes: verify requirements with the BACB or your state board, because it does not certify compliance. The BACB figures were pre-filled from the handbook updated 06/2026 and the 2027 requirements, and each is labeled to verify against the current BCBA Handbook. The pre-licensure targets are examples, not any state's rules.

This workbook tracks and computes. Verify requirements with the BACB or your state board: it does not certify compliance, and it is not legal or professional advice. BACB Verification is your own record, not a BACB form.

The sample uses the 2027 BACB rules, which apply to anyone applying on or after Jan 1, 2027: Concentrated supervision is 7.5% instead of 10%, and the monthly maximum is 160 hours instead of 130. The 2027 overview lists no monthly contact minimum, so that check is set to 0; change two cells on Setup if your handbook says otherwise. Pick Both (strictest) if you are not sure which rules apply to you.

Monthly Summary checks each month across all supervisors together, as one organization. With separate individual supervisors, check each one on BACB Verification. The handbook's month-adjustment rules are described in Help, not calculated, and a flagged month's hours may not count.

The projection uses your pace since the start date, or the planned hours a month you type, so a slow first month lowers it. One fieldwork type per file. Pre-Licensure targets are examples: use your state board's numbers. Keep client names out of the file and use a code such as Client A.

Every name in the sample is invented, including Casey Rowan, Dr. Tessa Marlowe, Luis Okafor and Harbor Bend Behavioral. The color editions are separate files, and the Google Sheets copy is separate from the Excel file, so keep your log in one of them.
