Vintage Dinner Knives by Henry Birks & Sons - Monogrammed Celluloid Bone Handles - Set of Ten

A lovely set of ten dinner knives by the renowned Montreal jewelry company Henry Birks & Sons which was founded in the late 1800s. These knives have monogrammed, ivory/bone-look handles which I think are celluloid, but have the beautiful two-toned striping that is typical in ivory.

The handles feature metal pins on both sides that attach them to the knife blades. The knives measure 10-1/4" in length and the blades are 1" wide. The handles are 3/4" wide at the widest and 7/16" deep. The blades are stamped Henry Birks & Sons.

There is some age wear and spotting on the blades, and the black coloration in the recessed monograms is worn on most of the knives. Otherwise this fantastic set is in excellent condition.

Note: I also have a set of six smaller matching luncheon/butter knives. See listing here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/99799053/vintage-butter-knives-by-henry-birks
