Known best for Treasure Island, Kidnapped, & Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Stevenson was also a poet and essayist. Here is a volume of his essays. This edition by Small, Maynard & Co. was published in 1907. If you are a Stevenson fan, you might add his to your books.

There are 256 pages. I found two facing pages- 4 and 5 which were not cut apart in the binding process. The former owner/reader must have torn them when trying to break the pages apart. All the pieces are there.

There is a bit of loose binding at the very front 6 or 7 pages, but nothing is missing. The pages have a rough cut edge--part of the manufacture. There is some minimal edge wear to the cover.
