Description

A gorgeous, Hmong hill tribe bed cover / single layer duvet throw sheet, hand-spun from locally harvested cotton and then indigo plant dyed with traditionally crafted wooden and metal stamp batik designs.

The sheet has sewn/closed edges and a beautiful center seam, with a gorgeous hand stamped indigo batik pattern and a lovely, ever so slightly patchy look, it's perfect for adding a touch of bohemian, authentic hill tribe character to your bedroom.

The bed/frame in the pic is a bit of an odd size! Depending on your bed size you can have a beautiful full hang on the edges/sides with a double or Queen or a more full cover on top of a King size etc.. please check the measurements to be able to visualize your fit.

The bolster pillows are available here : https://www.etsy.com/shop/LannaPassa?section_id=17032549

[ Approx Measurements ]

90" x 91"

[ Notes ]

Due to the handmade, hand dyed nature of the Hmong fabric, natural imperfections of color/design, may of course be visible, although (in my opinion) they add to the character of the fabric. Please view the full pictures fully.

[ Fabric Care ]

Wash fabric in cold/lukewarm water, by hand, and shade dry. A small amount of washing powder is fine to use. A little dye bleed/loss is to be expected when washing for the first few times in water, but when dry the dye will not bleed. Do not machine wash with heavy chemicals as this can cause a severe loss of color.

[ What is Indigo Dye? ]

Indigo dye has been used for thousands of years by civilizations all over the world to dye fabric blue. As much as 1 tonne of leaves is needed to produce just 2kg of dye. Natural indigo is also a sustainable dye; after the pigment has been extracted the plant residue can be composted and used as a fertilizer and the water reused to irrigate crops.

[ Shipping ]

Fabric is shipped direct from Northern Thailand and includes a tracking number.

Typically delivery takes around 10-21 days worldwide, although please allow for extra if there are any rare customs issues.

Any questions feel free to send a message.

FAQs

We are happy to create anything you can think of custom wise, and can offer wholesale rates for bulk orders - please feel free to contact us for more info.
For vintage and hill tribe fabric products we recommend hand washing and shade drying.
Shipping times vary but the typical shipping time to most places is between 10 and 20 days for standard delivery and 3 to 5 days for express delivery.

Occasionally customs hold ups, weather issues or holidays etc. may cause a small delay but generally 99% of orders arrive within that time frame.

** Canada orders will take around 4-8 weeks unfortunately, and are often not track-able due to delays and changes within Canada Post. **

After 4 weeks if there is no update on delivery we can look into it further from point of sending, and we consider a package to be lost and can refund the order if there's no new tracking update after 8 weeks (thankfully not happened yet - touch wood!).
Yes, all packages are sent tracked and registered. The order note has the tracking reference included.

You can use the Aftership website to follow the package here : https://www.aftership.com/en/courier/thailand-post

.. & once the tracking is updated in your home country you can use your postal service website for more local information, if supported.
We ship to most places, although we can no longer ship to the following places unfortunately due to issues with mail service :

South America
Mexico

If you have a query about shipping to an uncommon area please just send us a message.

Thanks for understanding.
Usually after a missed delivery (nobody home to sign for a package, package refused, not collected etc.) the package will be held for local pickup with your postal service for around 14 days, before being returned to sender if unclaimed.

If this happens, we can re-send for you, although you would have to pay the shipping cost for the re-send.

If you would prefer a refund, we can refund the order minus the initial shipping costs.

Unfortunately it often costs us double to receive a shipment back as we pay for the return shipping of unclaimed items as well as initial shipping :/ so please be sure to keep an eye on your tracking details to make sure any delivery or pick up goes smoothly before an item is returned to sender.
