1. What files do I get?
Three files. You get a PDF with a link that copies the Google Sheets* template into your own Google Drive*. You also get the Microsoft* Excel* (.xlsx) file and a step-by-step Instructions PDF.

2. What do I need to use it?
For Google Sheets*, a free Google* account and any web browser. It also works in the free Google Sheets* app on iPhone*, iPad* and Android*. The Excel* file needs Microsoft* Excel* 2019 or newer, including Microsoft 365*, on Mac* or Windows*. There are no macros or add-ons.

3. I'm a beginner. What if I type over a formula by mistake?
The sheet warns you first. You type in the green cells. Grey cells do the math, and blue cells hold your settings. Nothing is locked, and the Instructions PDF shows how to undo a mistake.

4. Can I set my own power rate, selling fees and currency?
Yes. Type in the price per kWh from your power bill and how many plants share your lights. You can change the fee for each place you sell, like Etsy*, eBay*, Palmstreet*, Instagram*, local sales and plant shows. You switch the currency symbol from a menu.

5. Is there a subscription, and can I get a refund?
No subscription and no hidden fees. You pay once and use it every season. Since this is an instant digital download, refunds aren't available. But you can message us any time and we'll help you get set up.

This spreadsheet shows if your rare plant cuttings really make money. It is for people who buy pricey mother plants and sell the cuttings. Think variegated monsteras, rare philodendrons, anthuriums and hoyas.

It spreads the price of each mother plant across the cuttings it gives you. It works out what your grow lights, heat mats and humidifiers cost in power. It adds in soil, sphagnum moss, pots, heat packs and shipping. Then it shows the true profit on every cutting you sell. It also shows ROI, which is what you earn back on what you paid. Dashboard
12 key numbers. These include net profit, true profit per cutting, rooting success, mother plants paid off, best sales channel and power bill per month. 4 charts update on their own, such as money in vs. money out by month and profit by sales channel.

Mother Plants
Room for up to 150 plants. Enter what each one cost, with shipping, import and plant health (phytosanitary) fees. You see the cost per cutting, how many cuttings are left to break even, lifetime profit and ROI. Each plant gets a Paid off or Earning back badge, plus health and quarantine flags.

Propagation Log
Room for up to 1,000 cuttings. Track each cutting's type, rooting medium and stage, from Rooting to Sold or Lost. It shows days to root, sale price, fees, its share of the mother plant and power cost, and true profit. Flags like Slow to root and Ready to list tell you what needs a look.

Grow Equipment
Enter watts and hours per day. It works out the kWh per month, your monthly power cost, and the power cost per plant per day.

Expenses
500 rows for soil, sphagnum, perlite, fertilizer, pots, pest control, packaging, heat packs, permits and more.

Monthly P&L
A profit and loss (P&L) view for every month. It shows cutting sales, mother plant sales, fees, shipping labels, plants bought, supplies and power, with a running total.

Price Calculator

HOW TO START
