How It Works
- Import & Auto-Categorize: Upload statements from both partners' banks in CSV format (any format: Chase, Bank of America, international banks, credit cards—all supported)
- Review & Validate: Each uncategorized merchant appears once in Review; picking a category creates a permanent rule. Fix a single transaction by typing its category in Transactions
- Split Customization: Set how expenses are split per category—50/50 for groceries, 70/30 for rent, or any ratio you choose
- Settlement Dashboard: Dashboard KPIs show each person's total spending and the settlement amount due (e.g., "Sarah owes Marcus $243.50")
- Recurring Detection: Automatically finds subscriptions and standing orders so you know what's coming next month

Works with Any Bank CSV That Has a Header Row
This template accepts CSV exports from banks and credit cards—major US banks (Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Discover), international banks, PayPal, Revolut, Wise, and more. Import the CSV exactly as your bank exports it (File › Import › Append, header row included) — the template finds the Date, Description and Amount (or Debit + Credit) columns by their names.
