Stroll through Santa Fe in the late afternoon, when the sun turns the adobe walls to glowing clay and strings of dried red chiles sway beside turquoise doors. Terracotta Clay is an earthy burnt orange, the color of those sun-baked walls, hand-thrown clay pots on a garden patio, and the desert hills of New Mexico at golden hour.

Quarried in Latvia, washed, dried, and sifted to a fine grade, then hand-tinted in small batches in our Latvian studio with rich gouache pigment. The result is a warm, grounded rust tone with a soft natural sparkle that brings Southwestern warmth to clear glass.

THE DETAILS
• One 4.4 oz (125 g) jar, about 1/3 cup (roughly 3 fl oz / 85 ml)
• Clear plastic jar with a secure screw-top lid, easy to reuse for storage
• Color: Terracotta Clay, an earthy burnt orange
• Material: natural quartz sand, hand-tinted with gouache pigment
• Grain: 0–1.0 mm (up to about 0.04 in), angular
• For dry décor only: keep away from water and moisture
• Origin: quarried in Latvia; washed, dried, and sifted by our supplier, then tinted and packed by hand in Latvia (EU)
• Batch number stamped inside the lid (e.g., [NN]-26091 = color [NN], September 2026, batch 1)

Because every batch is tinted by hand, shades may vary slightly from batch to batch and screen to screen. Need several jars? Order them together for the best color match.
