Funny Skeleton Beach Poster, Sun's Out Bones Out, Summer Vacation Art (Digital Download)

A sunglasses-wearing skeleton has settled into a striped beach lounger with a tropical drink nearby and no obvious reason to move anytime soon.

Behind him, turquoise water, a bright sandy beach and white hillside homes create a warm Mediterranean vacation setting.

The large SUN’S OUT, BONES OUT lettering fills the upper part of the artwork in cream, coral and turquoise, giving the piece the look of a vintage summer resort poster.

The skeleton stretches across the striped lounger under a matching beach umbrella, one arm tucked behind his head and one leg comfortably extended toward the sun.

A bright orange cocktail beside the chair adds another small vacation detail and ties into the warm coral typography.

Blue, turquoise, cream, coral and sun-washed sand dominate the palette. The colors are bright and summery without feeling overly tropical.

Although the main character is a skeleton, the artwork is designed as year-round beach humor rather than traditional Halloween decor.

It works naturally in beach houses, bedrooms, living rooms, dorms, offices and home bars.

The piece also makes a fun gift for beach lovers, vacation addicts, summer people or anyone whose preferred seasonal dress code is apparently just bones.

Sunshine, sea air and absolutely no tan lines to worry about.
