Accordion Songbook Bundle PDF, 48 Bass and 72 Bass Editions, 82 Tune Settings with Stradella Bass and Chords, Sheet Music

Both Real Buttons accordion songbooks in one order, for players with more than one accordion, or who are moving up from a 48-bass to a 72-bass:
• 48-Bass Accordion Songbook: 40 tunes, only the bass, M, m and 7 buttons of the 8 rows Eb to E
• 72-Bass Accordion Songbook: the same tunes plus Londonderry Air and God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen, in their usual keys, with more chords

Every tune is written on two staves:
• right hand: the melody in treble clef
• left hand: the bass and chord buttons, written as the notes the reeds sound, with the button name under each one (C, G, F for the bass row; M, m, 7 for the major, minor and seventh chord buttons)
• the chord name above the melody where the harmony changes
• a small chart at the top of each tune showing exactly which buttons it uses

The left hand uses simple, standard patterns: waltz (bass, chord, chord), polka (bass, chord), march and jig, with the alternating bass on the root and the fifth.

You receive the 2 PDF files (48 and 52 pages).

HOW IT WAS CHECKED
The music was engraved with LilyPond. A separate program then read the finished PDF back: all 4,704 left-hand buttons in the two books exist on the layout, every letter names the right button, every chord name matches the left hand, and at all 1,636 strong beats (each bar's first beat and every chord change) the melody note belongs to the chord. The 4,991 melody notes were compared with the public-domain sources and with the MIDI files. Generated and checked by software.

All melodies are public domain: traditional tunes, or music by composers who died more than 70 years ago, with the source of each tune listed at the back. The left-hand parts were written for these books. No lyrics are included. The books are in English.
