Homeschool Hours Ledger | School Hours & Days Attended Log (Google Sheets)

Form to sheet: log it in-the-moment on a Google Form on your phone, and the entry lands organized in your Google Sheet. No app, no re-typing. That's how every Ledger & Light tool works.

Every lesson across your school year becomes part of one record.

When a lesson ends, open the form on your phone and log it in-the-moment: the date, the subject, the hours and what you covered. Type 1.5 or 1:30 — both work. Your Homeschool Hours Ledger adds each entry to the running record of your school year, with the days you taught counted from the dates you log.

Type your school year dates and your own numbers on the Setup tab — the total hours, the school days, and an hours goal for each of up to six subjects — and the sheet sets out each one as a target with a status. Every target is a cell you can change, and the numbers are the ones you take from your own state, district or umbrella school.

✓ KEY FEATURES:
• A phone form for each lesson: date, subject, hours and activity, with hours entered as 1.5 or 1:30
• Your school year dates, total hours, school days and subject goals typed once on Setup — every target editable
• A requirement ladder with a status for each one: Met, On pace or Behind
• A pace line: at your last-8-weeks pace, the month you reach your total hours, beside your school year end date
• Hours for up to six subjects, each against its own goal
• School days counted from your dates — a day with four subjects is one day — with an optional School Day? marker for outings that should not count
• Hours by subject and by month on the Dashboard, with your most recent entries
• A Year Summary for any date range: totals, hours by subject and by month, and every entry in a list for your own records
• Subjects you name yourself, shared with the form dropdown

Your Homeschool Hours Ledger keeps your own record of the learning you log. It does not verify, certify or submit hours, and it is not affiliated with any school district, state agency, umbrella school or curriculum provider. Homeschool requirements change and differ by state and by district; the numbers in this sheet are the ones you typed from your own state or district, and you can edit them. Confirm your requirements with your state or district before relying on any total. Your state, district or umbrella school decides what counts.
