• Do I need any experience? None. Week 1 starts with saving your emergency number and learning one decision loop; every scenario is broken into small, narrated steps.
• Which AI does it use? I've never used one. Any modern AI assistant works: ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini. Free versions are enough; no paid plan needed. The guide's first section, "Never used an AI chat assistant? Start here," walks complete beginners through setup in about five minutes before Week 1 begins.
• Is this safe? Who's liable? It's educational only and is not a substitute for certified first-aid/CPR training or professional medical care. In any real emergency, call your local emergency number immediately; never let this pack delay that call. Get hands-on certification (e.g. Red Cross / St John) before attempting skills like CPR on a real person. You assume all risk; the author and the AI tutor are not liable for injury, harm, or outcomes.
• Will this make me CPR-certified? No. It teaches you to recognize a cardiac event fast, call for help, and understand why compressions require certified hands-on practice, then points you to a real class. Certification only comes from a certified in-person course. It is also clear that in a real cardiac arrest with no trained person there, you still give hands-only CPR as the dispatcher directs.
