Stargazing for Beginners, 12-Week AI Tutor Guide, Constellations, Planets, Moon Phases and Star Maps, No Telescope, PDF

A masterclass you actually finish, because every week ends outside, under a real sky, proving you can find something yourself. Most people look up and see scattered dots; this 12-week plan teaches you to read the night sky as a system: how it moves through the night and the year, how to find direction from the stars alone, which lights are planets and which are stars, what the moon is about to do, and what's actually worth losing sleep over. An AI tutor stands beside you: it asks what you see before it tells you what it is, and never lets a chart or app answer replace your own eyes.

Format: a digital guide with 12 ready-to-run weekly sessions, about 60 minutes each, fully scripted step-by-step with an AI tutor as your guide. No telescope, no prior astronomy, no AI experience needed. Free AI assistants are enough, and the guide gets you set up in about five minutes if you've never used one.

WHAT YOU GET
• 12 deep weekly sessions, each about 60 minutes and fully scripted: a plain-language concept, a concrete worked example, a timed session plan with the AI-tutor prompts built in, a "show me under the real sky" checkpoint, common mistakes to avoid, and practice.
• A "Never used an AI chat assistant? Start here" onboarding that takes a complete beginner from zero to ready in about five minutes. No paid plan needed; it works with any free modern AI assistant.
• Four rescue prompts in the front matter for when you're lost under the sky, the AI starts naming things instead of teaching you to find them, a session feels too easy, or you want to check you truly understand.
• A real, planned observing session you design and run yourself in weeks 10-11, logged and debriefed with the tutor.

WHO IT'S FOR
Curious adults who want to understand and navigate the night sky, the kind of person who's looked up, felt lost, and wished they knew what they were seeing. No telescope required, no prior astronomy, no background in science. If you can go outside and look up, you're ready.

WHY THIS INSTEAD OF A FREE CHATBOT
Ask a raw chatbot "what's that bright star?" and it'll just name something, or worse, invent an answer with total confidence. This pack ships the structure and honesty it lacks: a real progression from motion to directions to seasons to planets to the moon to deep sky, and a tutor set up to make YOU describe and attempt an identification before it ever confirms one, so you leave knowing how to find things yourself, not just what a chatbot told you once.

FAQ
• Do I need a telescope or any experience? No, this is entirely naked-eye and binocular astronomy. Week 1 starts with noticing that a star moved; everything builds from there.
• Which AI does it use? What if I've never used one? Works with any modern AI assistant: ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini. The free version of any of them is enough; no paid plan needed. If you've never used an AI chat assistant before, the guide's first section walks you through setup in about five minutes before Week 1 begins. No special software or app, though a sky app is useful (and week 7 teaches you to use one critically, not blindly).
• Does it work outside the US? Yes. The guide is written in US English, and every prompt tells the AI to use your country or region for spelling, units, and examples. It covers both hemispheres: Polaris and the Big Dipper in the north, the Southern Cross and the Pointers in the south.
• What if I live somewhere with a lot of light pollution? Most weeks (directions, seasonal constellations, the moon, and planets) work fine from a city balcony. Week 8's deep-sky targets simply scale to how dark your sky is; the tutor helps you pick realistic targets either way.
• What if it's cloudy on my project week? Week 10 has you build a backup plan into the session itself, and the tutor will help you reschedule around weather without losing the thread.
