Count down to Christmas with a little snowy village you build yourself. 24 smiling paper houses, shops, towers and trees, numbered 1 to 24. Fill each one with a small treat, and every morning in December your kids open one from the bottom and find a joke, a riddle or a mini puzzle inside.

You print it at home or at a print shop.

WHAT YOU GET
- 24 house sheets in full color, one house per page, each with its own daily note card

Every box holds a small treat (up to about 4 x 4 x 3 cm): a chocolate, a mini toy, a sticker, a note.

THE DAILY NOTE CARDS
Made for kids about 5 to 10: friendly jokes ("What do you call a cat on the beach at Christmas?"), simple riddles and little puzzles (unscramble a word, what comes next, a counting question). Answers are on the grown-ups' page.

YOU WILL NEED
- 24 sheets of white cardstock, 65-110 lb (176-300 gsm), plus plain paper for the guide
- A color printer (or black and white for the coloring edition)
- Scissors and a glue stick or double-sided tape
- Optional: a ruler and an empty pen to score the folds
Each house takes about 6-10 minutes to cut and fold. Print at "Actual size / 100%".
