Airbnb Startup Budget Spreadsheet, Vacation Rental Setup Checklist and Furnishing List, Excel

An Airbnb startup budget spreadsheet and setup checklist for Excel and Google Sheets: what it costs to set up a rental, item by item, and what you actually spent. There is a contingency line, because something always costs more than the quote.

WHAT’S INSIDE
• 60 lines in 9 categories: 58 setup items across furniture, linens, kitchen, tech, cleaning, safety, supplies and launch, plus a 10% contingency line and a cash-reserve line
• Budget vs. actual, with category totals
• Example rows show how it works; type over them

No filler. Every tab and column is one we use at our own rentals.

WHO WE ARE
We’re Ken & Moya, Airbnb Superhosts with 586+ Airbnb guest reviews, a 4.9 rating and 25+ years in hospitality. At peak we ran fifteen rentals, seven of them short-term, across two countries and three very different markets. We’re operators, not a management company, and we still run our properties. Everything in this shop is what we use ourselves.

“Spotlessly clean, tons of needed items all ready for our use.” Jennifer, Franklin, CT (an Airbnb guest review of one of our rentals)
