THERE IS A 20% RESTOCKING FEE AND SHIPPING COSTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

A 20 percent re-stocking fee will be deducted from the price paid and shipping costs are non-refundable . No returns are permitted on custom or personalized items, or items where a special request has been made for the order.

All refunds MUST be completed and returned to StudioSmiley and marked delivered within 14 days from receipt of item. Buyer must contact StudioSmiley within 3 days after the shipping provider has marked it delivered to advise of the return or no refunds will be given by StudioSmiley.

The buyer is responsible for the cost of return postage to StudioSmiley.
If an item arrives damaged, please send photos of the damaged item, a close up of the shipping label and the packaging it arrived in via Messages to StudioSmiley. We will need these photos as soon as possible to file a claim with the insurance company.

Notification of damage must be communicated to StudioSmiley NO MORE THAN 72 HOURS AFTER THE SHIPPING PROVIDER HAS MARKED IT DELIVERED or no action will be taken by StudioSmiley. The Buyer will be required to sign an online affidavit from the insurance company confirming receipt of the damaged item.

Once the claim is approved by the insurance company, a new item will be shipped to the customer.
If an item is lost in transit, we will do our best to rectify the situation, but solutions will be determined on a case by case basis. Issues may occur that we do not have control over (ex. delays in shipping, stolen item, etc.). If a package is missing but tracking information shows it was delivered, please contact your local post office immediately. You can also check with a neighbor or other member in your household as well to see if the item was delivered. to the wrong address or person. In cases where the item is marked as delivered, we are not responsible.
If the order was shipped to the wrong address because the wrong information was given to us or because the address in Etsy was not updated, no refunds will be given. However, we will do our best to try and assist in the product getting to the correct place.

If the item is returned to StudioSmiley for ANY REASON by the shipping provider including "undeliverable as addressed" , we will re-ship to you AT YOUR COST. plus a $4.00 handling charge. If an item was shipped to the wrong address because of our error, we will ship out a new item to the correct address, or pay additional shipping charges.
All orders are shipped via USPS with tracking and insurance.
First Class takes 5-7 business days.
Priority parcel takes 4-6 business days.
Express takes 3-4 business days.

I use a special 3rd party service that takes my parcel from Canada to the USA and ships it
via USPS from New York State.
Orders are shipped via Canada Post from Mississauga Ontario.
Letter mail and Expedited Parcel takes 5-7 business days.
Orders are shipped via ASCENDIA from Mississauga Ontario Canada.
Shipping time takes 7 to 21 business days.
All VAT, taxes, duties and customs charges are the responsibility of the buyer.
