DESCRIPTION - This listing is for a 4 page pattern in PDF (digital file) of an Icelandic Sweater Pattern

Everything old is new again! Bold geometric zigzags by Viking Wool is pattern #102 - a dazzling Chevron and Diamonds design. The colorwork captures a stunning geometric color blending achieved easily by knitting in the round. Scandinavian designs, in particular the Icelandic and Swedish Bohus knitting designs of the 60's were a big part of high fashion as well as pop culture in not only Europe but all over the world.

SIZES included with pattern: to fit chest measurements 38"/40"/ 44"/46"/48" Mens or Womens

STYLE: Sleeves and body knit from start with 1x1 ribbing. Both body and sleeves continue up to where they join together. Then All stitches continue upward, forming the yolk and neckband. Ribbed neck band has option of single or double (fold-over).

COLOR PLANNING: Designed as a 3 color pattern - Black, white and grey. Make your favourite color scheme!

YARN: My friend who knit this sweater made a note that the Viking Wool was much like Lopi. Make sure to use Gauge...

GAUGE: Width - 7 stiches = 2 inches Length - 10 rows = 2 inches

PRINTING : This PDF has been scanned from an original pamphlet (no copyright/public domain). Print out one 8.5 x 11 sheet both sides or 2 sheets single sides. Fold pages in half to make an 8.5" x 5.5" pamphlet. Suggestion: enlarge and copy the design graph to plan different colorways.
